Privacy Policy for Wevolve

This Privacy Policy describes how Wevolve ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application Wevolve (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
- Account Info: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address and name. You may also set a display name, profile picture, timezone, main goal, and a personal "why" statement within the app.
- Daily Check-In Data: Mood score, energy score, intention statements, top tasks, items to avoid, bedtime and wake time, daily wins, mistakes, triggers, and personal notes you enter during check-ins.
- Life Area Scores: Numeric ratings (1–10) for life categories such as sleep, nutrition, deep work, thinking, goal recall, wealth, and any custom areas you define.
- Goals & Tasks: Goal titles, descriptions, why statements, start/end dates, and associated images. Recurring task schedules and completion data.
- Affirmations & Rules: Text affirmations and behavioral rules/triggers you create in the app.
- Reviews & Reports: Period-based reflections and automatically generated weekly, monthly, and yearly analytics reports (calculated from your logged data).
- Community Content: Posts (text, title, images), comments, replies, likes, bookmarks, and community membership activity. Posts may be public (visible to all community members) or private (visible only to you).
- Images: Photos you upload for your profile picture, goal images, and community posts. Images are stored in cloud storage and the profile picture and goal image buckets are accessible via your account.
- Subscription Info: Purchase tokens from Google Play or the Apple App Store to verify and manage your subscription status.
- Advertising ID: Collected by Google AdMob to serve personalized ads to free users.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize the app experience
- To verify and manage your subscription
- To display relevant ads to free-tier users via Google AdMob
- To automatically generate rule-based analytics reports (weekly, monthly, yearly) summarizing your progress, scores, and common triggers
- To power community features including posts, comments, likes, and in-app notifications
- To sync your data securely across sessions
3. Community & Shared Data
When you participate in the community, your display name, profile picture, and any public posts or comments are visible to other community members. Liking or commenting on a post may generate an in-app notification for the post author. You can mark posts as private to keep them visible only to yourself.
4. Camera & Photo Library Access
The app requests access to your photo library (and optionally your camera) solely to allow you to upload images for your profile picture, goal images, and community posts. We do not access your photos beyond what you explicitly select to upload.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Sign-In — for authentication (OAuth 2.0; we request your profile and email scopes only)
- Supabase — for secure cloud database storage and file storage of user-uploaded images
- Railway — for hosting our backend API server, which handles subscription verification and automated report generation
- Google AdMob — for serving personalized ads to free users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Billing — for processing subscription payments on Android
- Apple App Store (In-App Purchases) — for processing subscription payments on iOS
6. Data Storage
Your personal data is stored securely on Supabase servers. User-uploaded images (profile pictures, goal images, community post images) are stored in Supabase cloud storage. We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.
7. Notifications
Wevolve uses in-app notifications only. We do not send push notifications to your device. Notifications for community activity (post likes, comments, replies) are stored in your account and displayed within the app when you open it.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app via Settings → Delete Account. This permanently and irreversibly deletes all your data from our servers, including your profile, daily logs, goals, community posts, and subscription records. You may also contact us at wevolvesupport@gmail.com to request data deletion.
9. Children's Privacy
Wevolve is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
